My Exit Strategy

Deciding how to go depends on the success of my business. I would personally like to sell my business Rent A Scooter to a company that would be able to continue its success and innovation as well as maintain the values and morals that are the foundation of the company. I have selected this specific type of exist because I believe others should be able to take over a company if they are interested and willing. I believe if the company or investor buying out my company has my best interests in had that it will be ok with me if I sold it. My exit strategy is purely based on what is best for the company. If I believe a company will bring innovative ideas that could further help Rent A Scooter develop.

  1. Andrea, great job on this post. I think your idea is a good one and I think your exit strategy is very logical. Starting a company and keeping it up and running at the best quality it can be is challenging so I think it is smart of you to realize that it could be the best option to sell it.

  2. I think your exit strategy makes a lot of sense, however you have to consider that the person who takes over your venture may not have the same vision you do. There are plenty of examples of businesses that undergo new management that slowly starts to take it in the wrong direction. I think you also have to consider the fact that because they did not develop the venture from the start, they might be more willing to give up on it if things do not go well.
